Life-extension
(Redirected from Life extension)
Life-extension is the study and practice of biologically-centred anti-ageing techniques.
It is sometimes referred to in a distinct fashion from immortalism, mind-uploading, indefinite lifespan or other technological longevity solutions. Inclusion of emerging technologies may instead be referred to as radical life-extension.
The philosophy of life-extension is longevism. Opposition to life-extension may be pejoratively referred to as deathism.
In wider society, there are many arguments made against life-extension, as well as many varying opinions based upon how the proposition is phrased.[1]
